these are all really, really old and from my last sketchbook. the wine setup alone was from a couple years ago when I was living in brussels for a summer. I usually don't like to leave unfinished sketches so I touched them up and finally scanned them. I'll probably get back into drawing more monkeys again - I used to always draw them way back at the beginning of my time at sheridan.

so this past summer i went on an eastern european trip with my brother to visit our motherland. this is just a sketch i did for the guest book of our hostel in kiev, ukraine. it was a great trip and I had a blast!

a piece of one of the backgrounds in my film and an almost complete comp of the scene it's used in. i also can't stress enough how good compositing can make your film look and feel.

I now know what it will be like to work on really terrible stories in the future...this was one of those stories. How are you supposed to be motivated to try and be creative and make something great when you yourself cringe when ever you think about what you have to work on? Drunk/high cats...are you serious, really? (Top piece was a concept I did for my sister as I was working out the character.)
